Hornby Spare Part to fit 4 VEP Class 423 Coaches
Please be sure to study the photos carefully. Hornby do not make it clear in stock photos or on the service sheets exactly which bogie frames you need for which coaches, as some sheets show all coach bogies identical, and some show two different styes.
As of September 22nd 2025: We have been informed by a customer that they think these bogies are X50037, part 14 on the No.469 service sheet. That they are the same as part 15 (X50038), but with added guard irons and shoegear. These can be seen clearly in the photographs. They say they will still fit as X50038 and X6323 (from the No.367 service sheet) but are not exactly identical in visual details.
Another buyer has claimed that these parts are not X50037 – although they were not actually clear why they thought they were not
Please be sure to study the photos carefully as it is up to you to be sure of what you are purchasing. The parts photographed are identical to the parts you will receive.
We do not claim that these parts are any specific part number.
These two bogies are identical, with yellow/gold and silver pickup shoes (non functional).
