Hornby Spare Buffers
These buffers were labelled “X6586” however, they are incorrectly labelled. We have X6586 for sale in our shop, and they look nothing like this. These buffers are flat-topped ovals, or rounded rectangle shapes, as can be seen in the photots. Your bag may have the X6586 label still attached, as seen in the 2nd photo. However, these are NOT X6586 for 2-Bil and 2-Hal locos.
They are approximately 8mm by 4mm with a flat stem of approximately 8mm long, approximately 1mm wide and approximately 0.5mm thick. There is a tiny step at the very end of the buffer stem, please see photos.
