7 × New Scalextric Neodymium Magnets as pictured from C8427.
We have spread them out for the photos since they are so powerful that we can’t place them any closer together. Neodymium magnets were first developed by General Motors and Sumitomo Special Metals and are the strongest type of permanent magnets which are commercially available.
The round magnets are about 8 mm in diameter. The rectangular ones are 16 mm long.
They are designed to fit straight into the holders that many Scalextric and other cars have in their chassis. You can use them to replace demagnetised magnets or you can use them to give your cars extra ‘magnatration’ for even faster cornering…
To supply them at this postage price I will remove them from their container and partially flat pack the container.
Please note: we have noticed that over time the outer coating on the magnets can deteriorate slightly, giving a slightly flaky appearance. This does not affect the effectiveness of the magnet.
